Hello and Welcome to wheeldontwo.co.uk. The Centre opened at Wheeldon in 2003. Previously, Adventure Tours was in Saltash and was first started by the late John Deacon.
Wheeldon opened in Dec 2003 with the main attraction being the indoor arena which was opened by guest riders Stephen Sword, Neil Mackenzie, Patsy Quick and Ady Smith - What a day!
Trail riding adventure tours continued but the introduction of the indoor arena guaranteed two full days riding whatever the time of year. The centre also attracted interest from the ACU who fully endorse our provision of qualified tuition, advice, safety and fun for juniors and adults, male and female and groups i.e. corporate and overseas visitors for trail/tour visits.
South Devon is considered very fortunate in having the highest concentration of green lanes in the country - all making for an excellent day's trail riding.
The Centre operates under full planning regulations and some restrictions apply i.e. all machines are provided by Wheeldon for use on the indoor arena for noise and safety control, which actually means that everybody is on the same bike - including Tyla Rattray, Christian Burnham and Carl Nunn! Who have all visited the centre and used all of its facilities.
The facilities at the Wheeldon Centre are excellent for a variety of uses and include high quality accommodation, indoor heated pool, games room/conference room, canteen etc. Perfectly suited for Corporate use/entertainment and, situated in the beautiful South Hams of Devon, also fantastic for a delightful family holiday.
