Welcome to Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, the Uk's only all weather, off-road adventure venue. Since we opened for business in 2003, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that Wheeldon Off-Road becomes what we consider to be a centre of excellence. We believe that the range of courses we provide and the facilities we offer really do make for the ultimate dirty experience.
As the UK's only all weather off-road adventure centre, we have been fortunate to host some world class events for some of the UK's top riders including; Stephen Sword, Neil Mackenzie, Carl Nunn, Patsy Quick , Martin Barr and Ady Smith who have all enjoyed trying their skills on our 30,000 square foot indoor arena. Whilst Paul Edmundson has shown us just why he is considered the UK's top enduro rider as he took part on one of our highly acclaimed trail rides.
All our staff are highly trained and ACU accredited which enables us to provide high quality tuition and advice, for juniors and adults, we provide a comprehensive range of courses and training events for juniors (7+) and both male and female riders from the absolute beginner to the seasoned professional. We cater for individuals and groups and specialize in providing tailored corporate events.
South Devon has what are considered to be the very best green lanes in the entire country - which makes for an excellent day's trail riding* (see below)..
Wheeldon Off-Road Centre operates under full planning regulations yet some restrictions do apply i.e. all machines are provided by Wheeldon for use on the indoor arena for noise and safety control, which actually means that everybody is on the same bike.
We consider the facilities here at Wheeldon excellent and include a range of luxury self-catering holiday cottages, indoor heated pool, games room/conference room, kitchen/canteen etc.
