| General: Wheeldon Off-Road Bike Center (here in after referred to as the Company) reserves the right to change or alter the course or event structure & or accommodation as necessary. However the Company will endeavour to maintain the same level of quality & benefits if any changes or alterations are necessary. The range of services rendered during courses & events shall be determined by the Companies current event information & or website at the time of booking. All relevant terms & conditions become effective when, a booking is made & the required deposit or balance has been paid. Although the Company will do its utmost to assist customers to identify suitable course & event style(s), by asking relevant questions with regard to personal fitness, riding experience & ability levels, it remains the responsibility of customers to use their own discretion to determine the suitability of the course or event style being offered. Customers, who enter into a booking with the Company, agree to fully comply with the Companies General Safety Rules & Code of Rider Etiquette as detailed in the pre course or event rider & safety briefing. Failure to observe these rules may lead to exclusion from the course or event. Gift Vouchers:Gift Vouchers are valid from date of purchase for a period of one calendar year. Gift Vouchers can be redeemed against any course or event style offered by the Company as preferred by the recipient. Once an event style & date has been confirmed with & by the Company, its terms & conditions become effective. Booking & Payment: Bookings can only be made by telephone or via e-mail. The deposit or full payment as required, to be paid at the time of booking, or to arrive with the Company by post within one week of booking. Deposit amounts for each event are as stated in the event information or shown on the booking form. Where not stated the deposit amount will be given verbally. A completed booking form & signed Motorsport Disclaimer must be provided with all bookings. Customers not wishing to sign the Motorsport Disclaimer must notify the Company in writing within seven working days by recorded delivery. Customers who do not sign the Motorsport Disclaimer prior to the start of the event will not be eligible to participate. Booking forms & Motorsport Disclaimers are available from our website or via e-mail or by post. Any final balance must be paid not later than two weeks before the start of the event. Payments for courses, events, gift vouchers, all goods & other services can be made by cheque or debit card. Credit cards payments are accepted but incur a surcharge of 1.6% of the total amount to be debited. Re-assignment of booking: Customers can re-assign their booking to another customer provided, the assignee meets all the participation requirements of the course or event style booked & must be notified not later than one week before the start of the event. An administration fee of £25.00 is payable. Customer Cancellation & Charges: Customers may cancel at any time; cancellations must be notified in writing by registered mail & upon receipt of such notification the following cancellation fees shall become due. Cancellations more than 8 weeks in advance of event date: 25% of deposit or payment paid. Cancellations from 8 weeks to more than 4 weeks of event date: 50% of deposit or payment paid. Cancellations from 4 weeks to more than 7 days of event date: 75% of deposit or payment paid. Cancellations from 7 days & to event date: 100% of deposit or payment paid Cancellations without notice or non-attendance without notification: 100% of full event fee less any deposit paid will be invoiced. Cancellation of Course or Event:The Company reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses or events in part or in whole & at anytime with good cause e.g. safety related issues such as ice, snow, poor visibility & or bad weather. The Company may also cancel the course or event up to two weeks prior to the start date if it is deemed to be undersubscribed e.g. less than ten persons. Customers will be informed in writing or by telephone without delay & may choose to either participate in a similar course or event as available or to be reimbursed. Use of own motorcycle: (Off-road & Supermoto Courses & Events)Participation is restricted to Suzuki GB motorcycle only. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their machine is fully prepared for the course or event type being undertaken & is fitted with its standard silencer. Noisy or poorly prepared motorcycles will not be allowed to participate. The Company & its representatives shall have no obligation to observe the compliance of these requirements. Use of own motorcycle: (On-road Courses & Events) ) Customers must hold a full current motorcycle licence. Participation is restricted to Suzuki GB motorcycle only. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their machine is fully prepared for the course or event type being undertaken & is fitted with its standard silencer & conforms to all legal requirements in force at the time of the course or event. A minimum third party insurance cover must be in place at the time of the course or event. Noisy or poorly prepared motorcycles will not be allowed to participate. The Company & its representatives shall have no obligation to observe the compliance of these requirements. Riding & Safety Equipment:Customers are required to wear adequate riding & safety equipment whilst riding. Minimum requirements Full length leather riding boots, Safety helmet, Knee guards, Upper body & back protector. Motorcycle hire:Suzuki GB motorcycle hire may be available for selected courses & events. Hire motorcycles must be reserved at the time of booking. Hirers must attend the pre event Rental bike collection course. The motorcycle shall only be used for participation in the course or event as booked. In addition to the hire fee Customers are required to provide a security / damage deposit; the security / damage deposit shall be in the form of a card payment authority for up to a maximum of £250.00 Trail / Off-road / Supermoto use & £500.00 On-road use (for damages up to £35.00, customers will not be contacted prior to invoice). Any & all expenses for the repair of damage to the hire motorcycle shall be recovered up to the limit of the card payment authority. The term of the hire shall not be interrupted as long as the motorcycle is unusable due to the Customers fault or incapacity to ride the hire motorcycle. If the hire motorcycle is to be used on the public highway a copy of the Customers licence must be returned with booking forms. Non UK Residents:Customers who are not resident in the UK & wish to participate in a course or event that involves riding on the public highway must hold a valid motorcycle driving licence, issued in the Country of residence. A copy of the licence must be returned with booking forms. |
