Our one weeks holiday at Wheeldon Farm was booked at the last minute, the party consisted of two couples in their fifty's one fourteen year old boy and Nanny and Grandad. Prior to arriving we were quite concerned that the holiday accomodation would be very close to the indoor off road biking centre at Wheeldon.

In actual fact our cottage was right next to this barn I have to say that I did not realise that off road motor bikes could be so quiet must be something to do with the baffles we found the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyed the other facilities that Wheeldon had to offer the swimming pool especially was a big bonus.

My 14 year old son had two training sessions on the off road bikes which was carried out very professionally by the owners and was the highlight of his holiday.

Thank you Wheeldon for a wonderful experience which was enjoyed by all.

Thank you for an excellent day last saturday (18th), in spite of the lousy weather. Your indoor circuit proved to be great fun and gave enough of a challenge to keep us going all day. Anyone thinking of trying off roading or greenlaning would especially benefit from this experience, I certainly have.

Thanks to Andrew & Andy for your excellent advice, everyone got faster and smoother as the day progressed. Thanks also to the ladies for copious amounts of tea,coffee & water, and an excellent & much needed lunch.

I will be back.

Just a quick note to thank everyone involved in organising and running a splendid day on saturday. It was great to have a local event in a great setting that didn't require lots of travelling. I thouroughly enjoyed the track which was well planned and set out with lots of varied terrain and challenges. There were not miles of narrow slipperry trails winding through woods that I felt have spoiled some of the other events I have entered recently. Hope there are more planned.

I just wanted to write you all a few lines,to once again thank you all and the rest of the team for a very memorable weekend. As you know,this was the second year in a row that i have organised an off road experience for some of our customers in Newcastle and the only word i can say is "superb"!!

The indoor arena is "brilliant" and as hard work as ever.  The outdoor track was great, the time trial just added to the fun and brought out the competitive edge for most people. But the full day trail riding just finished the weekend off and everyone came home with a sense of achievement.

As with last year, i brought the majority of people who had never rode off road and also a three times DAKAR veteran and i can say nobody went away without learning something. So, all i can say is keep my weekend free for 2008 and we will see you all on our third trip.

I recently attended the two day Off Road Academy and I can't remember the last time I had that much fun. I still haven't stopped smiling!

What a great weekend. The training modules were outstanding, with clear and well paced coaching from Jim and Andy,

who just couldn't do enough for us. The bikes, equipment and facilities are all first class.   Lee did an outstanding job leading the trail

riding and managed to balance the day to suit all the riders in the group.   I would recommend Wheeldon without reservation.  

Thanks again to everyone at Wheeldon Off Road, I just wish that I had of done this a year ago!   All the best

Hope you are all well and have recovered from our visit. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic time we all had during our stay with you. I can honestly say that there was nothing that we could fault. The accommodation was superb, the food excellent and the attention to detail was well above average.

We all agreed that Jim and Andy really made the experience something to be remembered, nothing was too much trouble for them, and they obviously care very much about what they do. They did a great job imparting their riding experience to us, and everyone learnt so much in a short period of time.

The only problem you have now is that we all want to come back and do it again! You all deserve to do very well!

What a day! We were all buzzing until Monday morning! Memories to last a long, long time.

I cannot overstate my admiration for the quality of the product you offer. The method of training works supremely well. We learned a lot from your simple but brilliantly effective training strategy- break the challenge into manageable chunks, practice it, then have some fun with a competitive edge. It seems a little hard to believe but I will be using this training strategy with our staff for various roles within our business in the future.

Quality was the watchword from start to finish- immaculate bikes and facilities- kitchen, changing rooms etc. Good food provided and even a beer on hand to round off the day- fantastic!

It is clear that the facility you offer provides expert tuition in responsible off road motorcycling as well as providing a leisure facility. Such initiatives are to be encouraged especially when the needless nuisance caused by irresponsible off road motorcyclists can be avoided by education and tolerance of other people’s needs in the rural/urban environment.

I would like to thank you, and your staff, for their commitment and professionalism in ensuring the success of the course. As you are aware it is very important for my staff to have reached a standard which is measurable and safe for them to operate within a public area. I just want to say a very big thank you for last weekend at Wheeldon Two Adventure Tours.

For my first proper time at off-roading it was an amazing experience. I never thought I'd be able to do what I was able to by the end of the weekend.

Having travelled down on Friday night not knowing what to expect I was really nervous (I don't think those nerves actually went away all weekend!). We were all really amazed and impressed at the accommodation you have there plus the whole set-up. It's so professional and organised, everything from the briefing and demonstrations to the videos and your expertise.

I know I started slow, but I want to thank you for being so patient with me. You guys are all really encouraging and I was so pleased that I managed to get my lap time down to 55 seconds. I've just got to beat that by another 5 seconds next time I do it!

We've all pretty much stopped aching by now and are really eager to do it all over again. I can guarantee we'll be back very soon for another weekend. You have everyone completely hooked now. (I'm trying to persuade Chippy to buy my a 250 bike now!)
