Father/Son Day
Just a quick note to say that both my husband, Glyn, and son Tom had a brilliant day on Saturday.  Tom has not stopped talking about it and can’t wait to come again.  Everyone was so helpful, friendly and patient it made the whole day a great experience, I am very jealous and will have a go myself next time. Please pass on our thanks to Andy and Lou for a great day.

Jim, Andrew, Justine, Louise, Pete, and everyone else (including the lovely chap who guided me out of

the lanes back to the A38), just a few words of well-earned praise for giving me the superb time that I had on the RMX launch last week...it was brilliant!

Apart from being pushed a bit too hard on the enduro courses in the morning - and making me think I was going to die several times - everything else was so enjoyable I was really cheesed off when the time came to go home. The Wheeldon Farm experience has got the lot really - it's extremely hospitable and friendly, great fun and a real help to learning how to ride off road; even if I did end up getting a bit wetter than I'd prefer at the end! I especially like the fact that everything's on site and it's a great event socially. The food is tops and the accommodation warm and cosy.

Thanks again for a super time and good luck with the business - you thoroughly deserve loads of

success with it.

“I’ve been to Wheeldon a number of times, it’s an excellent venue and track for pre-season training, bike time and overall fitness - you really feel it by the end of a session. The new RM-Z250 is a cut above the 09 model in terms of crispness and response, and although perhaps a little too explosive for the confines of the indoor arena, it handles the technical circuit superbly. Although I’ll be competing on a 450 in 2010, I’ll be back as many times as work permits between now and March as Wheeldon is a great venue to keep up the fitness when it’s too wet to ride outside, ensuring I’ll be race-ready come the new season in March.”

"...What can I say?  Being involved in off-road motorcycling, I had heard a lot about Wheeldon Farm, my expectations were high.  I have to admit I was sceptical regarding the use of “modified motor-crossers” for our days trail riding but from the moment we hit the dirt I knew that I should not have worried. 

The modified “Paul Eddy replicas” proved to be an ideal mount: Butter-smooth power delivery, light, well suspended and easy to start these bikes are a match for any “enduro specific” machine (as someone who has recently owned KTMs and currently a Gas Gas I think I can judge) and eminently ridable for any standard of rider.  

In this and every other respect my expectations were exceeded; first class hospitality, great quality gear, well guided and highly professional throughout, the day was impossible to fault. Thanks guys, you know we’ll be back!"

What a great weekend. The training modules were outstanding, with clear and well paced coaching from Jim and Andy,

who just couldn't do enough for us. The bikes, equipment and facilities are all first class.   Lee did an outstanding job leading the trail

riding and managed to balance the day to suit all the riders in the group.   I would recommend Wheeldon without reservation.

"I just want to say a very big thank you for last weekend at Wheeldon Two Adventure Tours.

For my first proper time at off-roading it was an amazing experience. I never thought I'd be able to do what I was able to by the end of the weekend.

Having travelled down on Friday night not knowing what to expect I was really nervous (I don't think those nerves actually went away all weekend!). We were all really amazed and impressed at the accommodation you have there plus the whole set-up. It's so professional and organised, everything from the briefing and demonstrations to the videos and your expertise.

I know I started slow, but I want to thank you for being so patient with me. You guys are all really encouraging and I was so pleased that I managed to get my lap time down to 55 seconds. I've just got to beat that by another 5 seconds next time I do it!

We've all pretty much stopped aching by now and are really eager to do it all over again. I can guarantee we'll be back very soon for another weekend. You have everyone completely hooked now. (I'm trying to persuade Chippy to buy my a 250 bike now!)."

"Steve here from Ireland, 16 of us spent last weekend over there off roading and would just like to say this is my second time visiting and I have to say we had a really good stay the accommodation was second to none, the bikes and kit was really good too both Andy & Jim looked after us really well and nothing was too much of a problem for them, I must admit I thought it would have been difficult to beat our last trip but they did.

The trails were amazing and my instructor John was excellent with really good communication skills and great knowledge of the green lanes it must be said.
